About Our School

Muskegon Community Educational Center (MCEC) is a unique alternative high school that plays an important role in earning a high school diploma, identifying a career path, and/or transitioning into college. MCEC has a history of enabling students to move beyond their credit deficiencies, truancy, and social/life issues.  We seek to expand this program to provide meaningful career readiness and increase the number of students we serve.   MCEC’s Collective Responsibility with MPS makes it “the place where the center of your child’s education is magnified in a collaborating community.”
