MUSKEGON, MI - JANUARY 20, 2026 - At their board meeting this evening, the Muskegon Public Schools Board of Education adopted a resolution to place a bond proposal on the May 5th, 2026 ballot to fund districtwide facility improvements.Muskegon Public Schools would be expecting to maintain the current tax debt rate of 7.5 mils. If approved, this would generate $37.1 million for the continued improvement of district facilities and equipment.
