Welcome to Muskegon Public Schools!

Step 1: Registration

Please visit your nearest Muskegon Public Schools building to complete or start the enrollment process for your student(s). Your student will not be enrolled until you visit an office.

Your student will not be enrolled until you come to the office with the necessary documents.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

We will make copies of your documents and/or print out any forms or documents for you - you do not need a printer.

Required Documents for the Registration Process

To complete your student's registration, you will be asked to provide photos or scans of the following:

Certified copy of Birth Certificate
Michigan Official Up-to-Date Immunization Records, or Official State Immunization Records from Your State of Origin
Proof of guardianship/custody, if applicable
Parent/Guardian ID
Transcript or Latest Report Card - High School Only
IEP for Special Education Student
Proof of Residency, including any of the following, dated in the past 30 days:
- Current rent receipts - must include property info or landlord address & contact
- Mortgage payment receipts
- Current utility bills
- Property tax bills
- Voter registration
- Driver’s license
