The Innovation Academies of Muskegon Public Schools (I AM) Student Ambassador Program empowers students to become leaders and advocates for our Ford Next Generation Learning community. These dedicated students help bridge connections between current and prospective students, families, and community partners.
What Student Ambassadors Do
Share Their Academy Experience: Ambassadors provide authentic perspectives on what makes our career-focused learning approach unique. They share personal stories about their chosen Academy pathway and how I AM has shaped their future goals.
Guide Career Exploration: Student ambassadors support incoming 9th graders during their career exploration process, helping them understand the differences between our Health & Human Services and Industry, Technology & Design Academies.
Connect Students to Community: These student leaders help demonstrate how I AM connects classroom learning with real-world experiences through local employers and community partnerships.
Represent the Student Voice: Ambassadors embody the "I AM" philosophy, showing how students take ownership of their education through voice and choice in their learning journey.
