MPS Parents – Coffee with the Superintendent

Please join MPS Superintendent Justin Jennings for coffee and conversation. This is a great way to get to know your school superintendent and to share your thoughts about your child’s education and any other issues you might want to discuss. Participation is limited to eight parents per session so please register soon.

Who is invited? Any parent or guardian of a MPS student.

When is the meeting? The second Wednesday of every month between January 1, 2018 and June 14, 2018.

What time? 9:00 AM

Where? In the Superintendent’s Office – Room 100 of the Hackley Administration Building at 349 W. Webster Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49440

How do I register to attend? Send an email with your name and the campus your child or children attend with the date of the meeting you would like to attend to mpscomm@mpsk12.net. (For example: My name is Kara Alabrac and my daughter Marigold attends Muskegon High School. I would like to attend the Coffee with the Superintendent on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.)

Are the meetings limited to a certain number of people?
Yes, the Coffee with the Superintendent is limited to eight people for each meeting. We will inform you if your request to attend has been confirmed or if you will need to register for another meeting.

Why are the meetings limited to eight people?
The superintendent prefers a small group setting to allow for a more personal experience and to give participants the opportunity to meet in an informal setting.

What if I don’t have an email address? If you don’t have a way to register for the meeting via email please call Irma Lopez at 231-720-2004 to register.
